DAFNE APP

Hi all just a quick one
I use the DAFNE app on my phone for all my readings but since the last up date it is giving some worrying readings
If you put in blood reading of 12 it is telling you to correct with 6 units I don't think so any body else had any problem with the app

Not used it Robert, I'll 'bump' your post up the forum in the hope that you get a reply.

I don't know if your aware, but bg meters like the Accu-Chek Aviva Expert are bolus advisor's and gives you bolus advice based on the information you put into the meter.

Never try to react to the information always try to experiment with BG levels see what you are if higher than normal increase by 1 unit at a time and see what happens keep a close eye (test regularly) with any insulin adjustment. It is about:-
1/ knowing your own body
2/ becoming an expert on yourself
Always remember these things are tools that are programmed to give a set answer everyone has different physiology.
Fundamentally
know what you need to do
and to do this you need to practice the control and use the apps as guides not bibles.
