I've seen on tv the daily mail are following articles about Dr Unwin with recipes this week. Great to see main stream media pushing the low carb message out for type 2. The article I just read even said to eat animal fats describing them as “good fats”

This morning I pinged the link to the Daily Mail article (Saturdays I think) to my local surgeries and one of them has it on their Facebook account already, this afternoon. It is great that it is all going out at different levels and media types.

When I saw the headlines it's probably the first time my blood pressure hasn't gone up as a result. As much as I dislike most of what the Daily Mail prints because of inaccuracies, after reading the online version of the story I have to say "Good Job".

I'm generally not the Daily Mail's greatest fan, but they are doing a lot to extol the many virtues of low-carbohydrate eating recently, and for that I applaud them. Pragmatically speaking, it's great, since they reach a very wide audience.

I thought it was a superb article and not one mention of 'calories'!

Yes, as a book with lots of photos it is best on paper.
