Data Cable for SD Codefree Meter

I have been using my Codefree monitor without problems. Has anyone been able to obtain the USB connecting lead to use between yr PC and the meter. It seems to be only available from the manufacturers in Korea! Free software looks good but unable to coonect! :( :thumbdown:
 
I have also been trying to source a cable. So far no luck as the meter has a very small jack point and even the mini jack on a Jack tto USB cable is far to big. If I have any success tracking one down from a reliable supplier I shall post the details on this thread.

I have contacted the UK supplier Home Health UK Ltd so I will see what they say.
 
You peeps are in luck :)

Because I never chuck anything away, I have 2 data cables that will fit the SD meter ok. I've just tried them as I too have a SD but dont need to log onto the internet with it.

If you send me a PM with yr names and address, I will post them off to you. One has a serial port connection and the other has a USB. Both came from Abbot Medisense when their old meters used the same data port connection that the SD has.

I can only send them to UK address's though.

Getting to grips with my T2 is proving to be an ..... errrrrr ....... interesting exercise and the more proactive I can be at this stage the more motivated I seem to be.

Hi

I have now got the serial port connector lead left but it can still be used with a USB to serial port connector so if you would like it just leave some more msgs on the forum (10?) and then you will be able to PM me with yr address OK :)
 
It's yours.... just leave some more messages on the forum (smiley faces will do I think) and then you can send me a PM. I will try to have a root round for a serial port to USB adaptor as I thin I have one somewhere but not sure :)
 
Hi

To send a PM to someone sign on first and then click on the PM button underneath their username. This will then bring up a seperate window allowing you to private message someone. Once youve done yr message, you then click on Send and then your msg has been sent. To receive a PM, sign on first and then at the top of the webpage underneath Board Index you will be able to see if you have received any PMs. If you have then you can just click on the message button :)
 
hi i just wondered (cheeky of me i know) do you have or know anyone who has or where i can get a usb cable for my SD codefree??
i am always on my comp so beenable to put results ect on here would be great for me xxx

Just brought mine after the nurse told me that although I'm type 2 that I don't need to test as they would do it for me ANNUALLY!
