Re: Dating & Diabetes - how to get the two 'D's' to work tog
My boyfriend was thrilled when I let him to an injection once. Bit different since we were together over a year before diagnosis, but he's still fascinated by everything.

Oh 'NOOOO' how awful for you .
The hypo would have made you feel more stress and worse for it !
Poor you (((hug)))
I had read this thread and had been wondering how things went for you
Sometimes in the warmer weather I can 'absorb' my insulin 'faster' than
in the cooler weather .
Maybe the combination of this plus anxiety/nerves brought this on with yourself ?
Once you had had your orange jusice at the bar - how did the rest of the date feel ?
Did you relax and chat about all sorts of things ?
Did you like her ? looks , personality ?
How did the date end ?
Swap mobile no's ? etc ...
Do you feel or sense it went quite positive and there will be a good chance of 2nd date ?

Ow... I have wondered how to navigate round having weird blood sugars on a date - poor you having to deal with it on your first date! Yes, tell us though, did you actually like/find her interesting...?
You're doing better than me - I've still not been on one! ;-)
