I'm sorry to hear that, Are you attempting to diet? I know for me I feel immeasurably more healthy at 95 kg than I did at 115kg and that will certainly help coronary risk too. I know its very hard to do especially when its hard to exercise. Have you considered going to your local swimming pool? its very easy on the joints and even gentle movement in the water burns quite a few calories, not just because of the exercise but because your body has to work to keep warm. I can't go at present because of my recent accident, but its certainly my first choice of exercise and much less dangerous than walking it seems !
I've lost my confidence in walking without pain and I keep suffering with scatica from cold local pools. I love swimming but not the cold. I have underactive thyroid too so I feel cold very easily and its uncomfortable. Stressful rather than a pleasure. Also our pool is small and kids jump in all around you. I'm scared I'll get knocked. Very painful pelvic joint inflammation. Heat is needed.
I do miss my swimming, especially with my kids :(

I've done strict 30g carb lchf diet but no weight loss, in fact I added from too much protein.
I'll give it another try in new year but I'm all dieted out. None work or a lose half a pound/pound. Others around me lose 7lbs on their first week of slimming world etc. I'm looking forward to my turn with bariatric surgery, hopefully in 2017.
Very very demoralising when sisters and mum rub my nose in it, with their rebounding weight losses. They don't have any of my 3 disabilities, including diabetes. I'm a wreck!

I am doing LCHF,but I am also counting calorie because after years of yo yo low fat dieting my metablism is shot as well, so it doesn't work for me if I " eat to satiety" instead I have to stick to 1250- 1500 calories and make that 60% fat. Most of the time that is actually satiety but I weigh everything to make sure I am not kidding myself either . I try and eat unpredictably - i.e. some days very low and some days a lot higher with fasting in between whilst also making sure it averages out in the right range. The online system I am using to diet is cron-o-meter and it works very well for me. Take a look it might help !
