Should talk to your nurse or dr about it. My previous DN was thinking of giving me a small evening dose of insulin. Sadly she’s gone sick and no advice as good now.Call it what you will, but some mornings, I get it really bad. Anyone else get it? I carry on as normal, but I've seen my bloods go over 13 and 10 on separate days. Only two big dumps in ten days, isn't so bad, but neither is it great. It is so annoying but what can you do about it?
Very interesting - what kind do you have just before bed and roughly how many? thanks I'll give it a go ...As with @KennyA ’s suggestion this may not work for everyone but way back when I was diagnosed and had dawn phenomenon, someone suggested eating a few nuts before going to sleep. I do that to this day and in fact my blood sugar drops a little between getting out of bed and preparing my breakfast these days!
Just a few, say 10 macadamias which is what I’m eating now. Other times 15 - 20 pistachios. I used to eat almonds but can’t eat those anymore for other health reasonsVery interesting - what kind do you have just before bed and roughly how many? thanks I'll give it a go ...
