Delays in test results

Good news on your results, @bilkbiker. That's a fine A1c, and quite a strong effort on the TC. :)

My results from last Thursday are still not back. I called the surgery this afternoon who told me they're not back.

The original request for the bloods came from secondary care, but when the blood is drawn at the GP, the results usually go to both primary and secondary care.

I'll find out what's going on on Tuesday when I have a shift at the local Vaccine Hub, when some staff from my surgery will also be there.

In the meantime, I will be doing my best to make good work of the incredible prime rib we have for tomorrow. Enjoy your day too.

Turkey breast will be in the sous vide by 8 am tomorrow. Stuffed legs cooked last night overnight.

and everyone have a great day.

Had to google that, looks a interesting way to cook. Have a merry christmas everyone

VERY off topic, but I'll pause on the naughty step for the obligatory period later.

I introduce to you, Christmas Rib 2021 - Just the one rib, but I doubt we'll go hungry (this side of 2022). It's too large for our chamber air fryer, so it's been in the oven an hour or so already, in preparation for eating early evening.

MrB is the master of the low and slow cooking.

Merry Christmas to anyone waiting for test results. (Did I almost redeem myself? :) )

Plenty of fat on that, too - so important for flavour as well as nutrition.

We are having rib too. We eat in the evening.
