I found out about these cakes from the freezer thread. Got the 20% discount and ordered a few boxes to try. It’s not about freezing them so created new thread

they were smaller than I expected but so far have tried the raspberry blondie and the notella blondie and they are interesting. The notella ones had more of an after taste. I’m not sure I can say I’d describe them as satisfying as actual cakes but they are nice I think. Weird saying think but sometimes you eat foods that seem nice but you aren’t totally sure, does that make sense?

wondering if the slight taste difference is the sweetener? have some drizzle cake, brownies and a mixed box in the freezer and the other mixed box in the fridge. Hoping the brownies are nice

don’t think I will buy again, the price is just too much for what you get. I do appreciate that the cost vs something you’d buy in a shop is not that dissimilar but unfortunately mass produced cakes are always substantially cheaper

Anyone else eat them or alternatives?

OK, my husband has been making diabetic friendly ice cream recently. (Maybe not a cake but it's just as good). Frozen berries plus greek yoghurt in a food processor, with a tea spoon of splendor just to make it slightly sweeter. (That does two portions plus another two when we scrape out the bowl:)).

Hi Andy, I also order from here and some flavours I like, some I’m not sure about! Guess it’s trial and error. The Brownies are my favourite warmed up with a dollop of clotted cream!
I also like the millionaire shortbread, it is really sweet but I have a really sweet tooth so they give me the sweet hit I miss!
Hope this is helpful.

That’s helpful, I considered getting shortbread but it was the least well reviewed, but good to see you like them

like the idea of warming the brownies, will try that, thanks for the tip!

The millionaires are really sweet. But they work for me!
They don’t take long to heat couple of seconds in a microwave. I’m just glad I’ve found a sweet alternative that doesn’t spike my blood sugar levels.

Have just tried the ginger one and it’s very nice. I have the lemon drizzle for another time
There is a slightly unusual taste, suspect it’s the sweetener but it’s okay. Have eaten worse :)
