Dexcom g4 readings not matching bg

It's possible that I've been doing it wrong! But it's certainly what was suggested by DSN and Dr.

I'd better check with them at my next visit!

I know US people have different labelling to us and sometimes online it can cause confusion for people eg when they're following Atkins (US site but with UK users too) or even just googling for info about carbs.

In the UK we don't have to deduct fibre from the total carbs figure as it has already been deducted (unlike in some other countries where the fibre is included in total carbs and so has to be deducted first).

Do let us know what your DSN and Dr said. If Scotland (or some areas) are following a different method or using different carb charts or something, it would be very useful to know :)

I'll be sure to keep you posted. My next clinic visit is in 8 weeks.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned this on another thread and there were mixed opinions. So its quite possibly that (unfortunately) this may be a misconception amongst the NHS HCP's...
