Dexcom G6 disconnects when using mobile car phone

I have noticed in the last few days that when my mobile Phone is connected via Bluetooth to my car, if I am on a call for more than 10 minutes my G6 disconnects from the phone; it does reconnect though a few minutes after I end the call. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry, but I do not use my mobile phone when I drive as it a offence here in Queensland to do so. The penalty is a $400.00 fine plus three demerit points.

Froggychops - I'm not a G6 user, so can't comment. I'll tag both @tim2000s and @Juicyj , whom I think may both use the G6, or at least are likely to be able to recall others who do.

Phone model is likely to be an important factor in this @Froggychops as bluetooth stacks vary widely across hardware/software layers - what are you using?

I’m using an iPhone X.

Wow, that is harsh. Is that using hands free? In the Uk it is an offence if NOT using hands free
