The misinformation out there about diabetes and misunderstanding of difference between Type1 and 2 .
Have you started new activities ? Or new job ? I dont know if your male or female but when i was pregnant in first month i used to get unexplained hypos . Could you be pregnant ?
Would you reduce your insulin and see if that helps

Its 40 years since i was diagnosed but i believe there is simetimes a "honeymoon " period ? Do you have contact with diabetes nurse specialist ? I would chevk in with her or your diabetes team and see what they say . Also lowering insulin can take up to 48 hours to take affect

If it was me id watch the blood sugars for next couple of days and if your still having hypos id contact the nurse. I have my diabetes nurse specialist email and if i ever have a question i send it and usually have a reply next day

Ask the appropriate questions.. Tag the appropriate people.. (In the event of grey areas.)

There's a thing called a phone ;) give the nurse a ring and say help please I'm having loads of hypos. Are you confident enough to alter your own insulin, if so perhaps consider lowering it.

If you haven't done so already it would be wise to consult an experienced dietician who has good knowledge of diabetic requirements. Then start from the ground up. That is get your specialist (or a diabetic care nurse) to evaluate your readings over the telephone at the end of each day for at least a fortnight. Start with low doses and work your way gradually up to achieve sound and appropriate readings before each meal. Try to have similar sized and type meals each day and stick with your usual doses. Then gain some confidence when you have larger meals or special treats to adjust the dose up to compensate. I am sure you will get there with some patience and good tailored advice.
