Most non anglers are unaware of the work that fresh water anglers do in this country to protect our rivers and lakes and to protect our fish stocks from pollution and predation.

Yeah I already know that and was just having a laugh!

My ex brother-in-law fished for carp and would subscribe to a publication called Carp Talk/Carp World (?) which always had a photo of someone holding the biggest carp you had ever seen.
