Diabetes readings

Not dangerous for a one off reading. Yes, it's high. If you maintain these readings over a period of a few days, talk to your nurse or doctor. When did you get this reading ? Had you eaten an especially high carb meal or something ?

Hi not sure what meds if any u r on but 17 is very high. Would be dangerous at this level consistently but the odd one like this not too bad. Also would be dangerous if accompanied by high ketone levels which usually has the symptoms of pear drop taste in mouth, excessive thirst hard to quench, excessive urination and weight loss.

I would advise u too see your dsn if u have one or ur gp asap. Have your readings with u as I think your meds may need looking at to get your levels down. What are they like in the morning after fasting overnight?
