We're looking at getting some t-shirts made, and would love to get some input from you all! We gathered up some ideas from Facebook and would like to give our forum users the opportunity to have the final say.

If you've got any other great ideas for diabetes-related t-shirts, feel free to post them here! :D

Happy voting!

How about "Type 2 and Neglected"

or...."last night a doughnut killed me"

"Carbs are Sugar"
"30g a day is plenty"
"the NHS Sucks"
"My Doctor is an Idiot"

I love them all!!!!!! :D

Not keen on "labelling" T shirts, someone once bought my son" I'm not naughty I'm autistic " T shirt and I thought it was awful, think it stops people seeing the person and they just see the label.

Don't mind the donut one though as it's quite subtle, the spoonful of insulin one is a bit misleading if we are trying to educate the uninitiated, why give the message that insulin comes on a spoon

Now I've had my grumpy old woman rant I'll leave quietly:p

In agreement with Sarah69 - I personally dont want to advertise the fact I am diabetic and I alsosupport Avocado 7folds question - why do DUK need the T shirts for in the first place? what % percentage will be kept back by DUK and what amount goes to research?

I also notice the slogans are mostly predisposed towards T1 - as a T2 I am not sure I want someone gving me a jelly baby/donut when I my sugars decide to do their own thing and start to climb and I can barely keep awake.

There are already a number of websites out there that will provide diabetic related t-shirts with slogans - not sure we need another offering.

I'm diabetic, I'm a bit autistic, and I'm sometimes a bit naughty.

The T-shirts stink.

I agree with all you say.
Also interested in where the profit goes.

I would have voted the "last night a donut saved my life" as it made me chuckle, but I ended up going for "Drunk...or diabetic? Same appearance - different needs!" as I'm getting fed up of some people's ignorance towards our condition
