I have been asked to go on a course, held by Diabetes UK, to become part of their speaker programme to raise awareness of the condition in the community. What do forum members think of Diabetes UK’s programme? How compatible is it with Diabetes.com? I will research it myself but am interested to hear your opinions.

Can you confirm diabetes.com? It started to download a PDF when I put it into my phone.

Here is my thread on my experience of hearing a Diabetes UK talk at my local U3A meeting.

Blimey.....thanks for that. I don’t mind speaking to groups and don’t need any training to do so but it sounds as if this is purely for promoting DUK, which is something I am not prepared to do. I am a Health Champion for T2D in my area and will stick to that. It is much more demanding than I thought it would be!
