Hello everyone, hope all of you are well!

I've been a little quiet lately due to moving employers. I've moved from Scotland to England. With the move, I'll be sourcing a new GP. When I was home last week, getting my 3 monthly bloods done for the Aviation Authority, my diabetic consultant said that if I wanted to, I could stay with them. I'm home regularly and have no issues heading home to get them done. They are a great team putting me onto a pump just one month after diagnosis as they thought it would be great for my job, making sure I did the million different tests I had to do to get my pilots medical back and they even fit me in outside the usual clinics so it fits around me and my working pattern to get my 3 monthly bloods, lipids, renal and kidney checks done.

So if I get a new local GP, I take it that it's okay to keep my diabetic team that I have back in Scotland?

Cheers!

Can't see why you shouldn't Scotty. Our Nicola hasn't got any plans to rebuild Hadrian's fence yet (as far as I'm aware!)
You'll probably get better, if not less expense, care up here.
