I have tried it @NicolaB70 It is fairly easy. You need to have special needles with barbs on the end. a base to felt on that wont disintegrate when you use it. If you want to make figures you need something to make armatures but basically you need the needles and the base. Be VERY careful with the needles as they really hurt if they hit a finger....ask me how I know
 
Thank you @ellagy i have seen a couple of videos on you tube and have reviews on Amazon and they say about the needles. That is what is putting me off as I have a neurological problem that affects my fingers and grip. I may buy a small kit and just be very careful and see how I get on.
 
Give it a go Nicola... of course... you will need some yarn to felt!

Not a choice I would make but hey, it's not my jumper, so what does it matter....it's yours, you like it, end of......
 
It's the only way to know. Not heard of it, much less tried it.....

I doubt it but there are colour cards that they use to tell if kids are colour blind....well used to when mine were little. There were coloured dots all over. If you were colour blind, you just see dots, if not there would be a shape...cat, tree or some such... I bet you'd find something online using say "colour blindness test" to search with.

We all see colours differently and have preferred colours or colour combinations.... also fluorescent, normal light bulbs and daylight also affect the way we see colour (hence camera settings for same..white balance) my ex had a pair of grey and one of green trousers but in fluorescent light they were blue & brown. Hope this helps

I've got to be honest, it is not a colour combination I would chose but who knows whether the colours I am seeing are the same as you

Yes, you definitely must!!
It's just struck me I have a knitting pattern for felted slippers. Best I can recall its really hairy wool knitted to shape then washed at a high heat so it "felts up" .. maybe more to it than that, I must look out of curiosity

I wish I could put photos in the forum, Mr D is sleeping on my shoulders, has been there for an hour and he makes an excellent neck warmer!

I went to a craft fair recently and there was a stall holder selling tiny felted white mice with pink feet curled up in tea cups. They were really pretty but very expensive. She said they took hours to make.
 
Do the "filters" think it could work with duvet/pillow filling? I've got some that's really soft and one doggy bed was actually stuffed with fuzzy strands like the yarn in the video
 
It might be worth a try.
I'm a bit at a loose end at the moment. Loads to do but nothing I really feel like doing, if you know what I mean!
