So many lovely things you've all made posted in this thread!
I used to do a few crafty things but working a lot of hours at a stressful job took it over and I hadn't made anything for years.
Recently I've gone back to knitting and crochet though and I'm teaching myself to knit lace from charts. Next project will be having a go at fair isle knitting, I did one small amount of greek key pattern on a cardi when I was at school and that's a lot of years ago so I think it's about time I had another go. I'm going to try a simple tam pattern, it's on double pointed needles which I haven't tried either so wish me luck
I'm finding my return to knitting etc. helps my stress levels, I've made a scarf, a shawl (both lace), two sweaters and a crochet table centre since I was diagnosed at the end of May. Now I just have to get my head round 'blocking' things, it used to be all you did was press things under a damp cloth :O
