Hello,
Just asking for advice really, I some how have developed a small sore in the crease of both my little toes one seems to be healing up well with suedocream and the other has only just appeared last night, they are right on the crease where the little toe meets the foot and there is no rash or itching ( I googled athletes foot ) I don’t know if I need to see the dr or leave it a few days and see how the seudocream goes, they are quite small and usually I would never worry about something so small but I know diabetes and feet can be trouble, my blood sugars are well controlled and I haven’t been anywhere I could have picked athletes foot up. I see my diabetic nurse in a week but I’m worried I will wake up with a huge weeping sore, I don’t know how fast these things develop.

I'd be off to the sawbones real fast if I were you. Don't panic as it may be nothing but simply not worth the risk in leaving it.

Definitely don't take any risks with your feet.
You may need some pointers to prevent them reoccuring if athletes foot.
Any new footwear recently? Or nylon socks/tights. Cotton is best to help feet to breath. So leggings rather than tights. Regular sock changes when doing long walks too.
Normal sweat salt causes rubbing.

Thank you for the replies, I haven’t changed anything at all really. I managed to get in at the drs today and she was unsure she said it looked like the mildest case of athletes foot she’s seen in a long time but it’s healing itself on one foot and that’s not common of athletes foot but she’s giving me the treatment for it anyway just to be sure, she said she doesn’t think this is diabetic related and my blood sugars are good when I check several times a day, we did manage to fathom where it may be from tho I reacently went for a long walk and my trainers let water in ( useless mesh type ) and I was walking around for several hours with wet feet. Thank you.

I'm glad you got to the bottom of it. :)

Lily2, when you say it is a "sore" is it an open wound? If so you need to see your GP/Diabetic Specialist Nurse as soon as possible.
