Diabetic Polyneuropathy

After my posting of "Erratic Blood Sugars" I have had a lot of pain in my upper thigh and this has been investigated by my doctor and he is now looking at it may be Polyneuropathie due to the high blood sugars. I have lack of movement in my legs and a great loss of balance when walking and having to rely on walking stick. I am about to undergo some tests (bloods I believe) Any advice on this condition, diagnosis or other ways ahead appreciated.

Thank you very much for the link. Very informative and unfortunately frighting as I do have a lot of the symptoms they describe. But my doc is on top of this and luckily here in Cyprus I have medical insurance for all the required tests.
