Diabetics R Us

Good news for the cat, looking forward to my party, not in the least because that means all the preparing will be finished :wacky:, and started posting the licking cat video to friends who are having their birthdays on facebook :hilarious:

At least I'll have food for all of next week after the party as I probably made way too much to start with and of course almost half the guests called off at the last moment :p

That is so cool that you are forwarding the cat video on to others! I sent it to a friend of mine for her birthday last summer. She does not have a cat but likes them, and she loved the video. :) She sent me a hilarious cat paper card in return.

I'm sorry some of the invited guests called off at the last moment but OTOH maybe it will be more fun without them anyway. And as you said, you won't have to fix any more food for a whole week.

Have fun!

Does this happen to others on their birthday party?
It's 8:30 In the morning, I'm drunk as a skunk and I really need to go to sleep and I just met 2 male sheep in my bathroom. Had something to do with my neighbouring sheep owner and I deciding it was a good idea to let them walk in my garden and then didn't close my back door.
Needless to say the party was very good and I expect to have a trimmed garden this year :hilarious::confused:

What a dreadful day. We had a snow storm for about half an hour, high winds, and now hail is beating against the window. In a break from the wet stuff we tried to take Ness round the block for a quick walk. Had to turn back after 5 minutes - she was getting blown over. :arghh:

Afternoon all. We're back from our weekend away, had a lovely day yesterday in Folkestone.

The weather is wild here today, apparently one of our Tesco stores has lost part of it's roof and there's trees & lamp posts down all over the place.

We are out soon for Sunday lunch with the family and some friends.

Hope you had a wonderful party @Antje77

Yes, happens all the time here, although it's usually cats, not sheep. ;)

Sounds like tornados, @heh ? Like the horror in my old stomping grounds last Sunday. Stay safe, especially if you do go out to lunch.

Good morning, I'm somewhat alive again, although the head still hurts. I still think any party that ends with sheep in the bathroom is a wonderful one!
I'm happy to see there aren't any typo's in the message I wrote this morning. If I remember correctly it took me at least 20 minutes to hit all the right keys and redo the words that turned out with additional or wrong letters :hilarious:

While in my teens a friend and I went hiking on Dartmoor set up camp for the night got a little tipsy on cider then settled down in our sleeping bags for the night then in the early hours a rather aggressive ram (male sheep) ran into the front of the tent and out of the back of the tent unfortunately as there was no exit at the rear of the tent he took the tent with him tangled in his horns leaving us rather exposed to the weather and on the moor the weather can be rather inclement.

And really you do not wan't to mess with one of these guys.

Good thing y'all weren't in a pup tent with an attached floor!

Is that a Bighorn sheep? Lovely horns!

Morning all

The weather has calmed down overnight but Tesco have sent me a text message cancelling my shopping delivery tomorrow due to the building damage so it looks like I'll have to actually go and do some shopping

Hope there were no nightmares about raging rams last night :hilarious:

Have a good day.

H :)

So that's why I haven't been able to get to sleep! :D Or maybe it's just the ramifications of Sunday's long nap.

Well, I waited up to see what our PM came up with. I'd have done better to get an early night. If I hear any more squabbling I shall start banging heads together!

So did I. Plenty more squabbling today on BBC Parliament no doubt.

Am I the only person who finds some debates in the Commons embarrassing? If children acted like that at home they would end up on the Naughty Step.

We need to have a headbangers' ball over here too.
