Yes, I noticed, but I also detected that she was very angry but trying to contain it. I don't think she is well at all, to be honest, and I'm not surprised. She would do well for her own sake to let go, stand down and retire to the country with her husband for some peace and quiet. I do remeber Ken Clark saying that, and it seems what he said is true. What about Corbyn walking out of the meeting with the leaders of all the parties this afternoon - because he objected to the ex-labour chappie that defected to the Independent Group. Said he refused to be in the same room as him. Yet earlier in the day he went on and on in the Chamber about the need for cross party co-operation.

I have said before that I don't have a dog in this hunt, and I certainly don't know what is really behind Brexit, the real reasons for or against it ... I will just say -- as I, a Protestant, say of the papacy -- we need Great Britain. The rest of the world needs you. I don't want to say more, because I have no real idea, and of course none of us can know the future or see the whole big picture of time ... but the idea of Parliament not knowing what they are doing is scary and I hope it's not prophetic.

Y'all ran an empire once. For good or ill, politically correct or not.

I'm saying this very badly.

OK, I'm just gonna call my dog off now ... best thing I can do is just count my carbs and care for my cat.

The last sentence is exactly how I feel. Every debate, every speech, every interview, on all sides of the house say nothing. All they talk about is whose fault it is, who is to blame, what they did that was wrong, what they should have done. All that is irrelevant. Completely irrelevant. It happened, it is all in the past. Time to discuss what to do about it and stop playing the blame game.

I may, or may not, be very quiet from tomorrow as we are off to Wales for a week. The cottage is promising Wifi but my tablet is not the best and my phone is even worse! Be good everyone. :)

Have a wonderful time! (I can't promise about being good, however.) ;)

I don't think you're on your own when you say you are in the dark about Brexit, most of us in the U.K can't fathom why all this has come to pass. It is now looking like a low budget soap opera!

I'm off to bed, wake me up when it's all over...

Night, night Duckies. Sleep well.

Oops I am very late to the party. I hope you had a wonderful day (and maybe are still having a wonderful night!)
Wish he could help keep your numbers down:

Lovely day yesterday, even if I was busy at work.

Had a great meal out last night at our local Italian restaurant - tomato & mozzarella salad to start followed by an Italian mixed grill (they swapped the chips for green beans), then I had an Amaretto coffee with a mini chocolate & hazelnut pastry.

The celebrations continue today with afternoon tea at The Lane in Deal with Alan, son & daughter. Then Sarah (daughter) & I are going to the theatre to spend the evening with The Hairy Bikers.
