I was going to suggest a mouse trap; your idea of a padlock is much kinder!
Well, it took dorito's and coated peanuts (to prevent going low again later in the night), way more licorice than I have ever eaten for a hypo before (except the one time I mixed up my insulins) andf a couple of slugs of undiluted lemonade for good measure before I dared sleeping. Libre graph tells me I only rose to about 8, maybe close to 9 before slowly dropping again though the night (I usually do a slow rise through the night) to 6.4 upon waking. Pretty bizarre to me, and definitely higher through the night than I would normally like but perfectly happy with it for tonight.@Antje77 stay safe and I hope you get some safe sleep sometime. The ship sounds like fun. What kind is it?
Ouch, you did get all the glass out didn't you?How unlucky am I. Just went to get a drink of water and a light bulb exploded, the glass has given me two cuts one on each foot!
Morning all

This it the ship, Klipper Anna. She's a century old flat bottomed cargo ship, now used to sail with groups on the Waddenzee. 27 meters long with room for 26 people to sleep.
