Diabetics R Us

My house was stacked to the gunnels with bath bombs as Keiran used to make them to sell on EBay when he found demand was too great for him to keep up with he stopped but we were left with loads of them so now we are gradually getting rid of them one bath at a time.

Goodnight, @Guzzler . Peaceful rest, sweet dreams.

Oh not too bad had a bit of a quiet day am trying to think of what to do for tomorrow as it's our 45th wedding anniversary tomorrow. may go out for a meal. Theses things have a way of sneaking up on you.

How are you today.

@Bluetit1802

I have to admit Sapphires are a little bit beyond my means at the moment but they are a beautiful stone. So will have to think of something else not that Judith doesn't deserve sapphires though. :)

Hope you have a wonderful 43rd in the summer with plenty of sunshine and wine.:)

Something sapphire blue would be nice.

There will certainly be plenty of wine. Whether there is sunshine is in the lap of the gods. We were married in August 1976. Remember that year? The hottest summer on record. Stand pipes in the streets. Water restrictions everywhere. But it was wonderful, and a wonderful day to have a wedding.

Happy Anniversary!

I am doing well. Quiet day, much needed after an unexpectedly busy/stressful week.

Busy day today;
Out for breakfast (and have to confess to a hash brown :oops:)
Walk along the prom at Dover and the newly opened pier.
Chauffeured son & DIL to their friend's wedding.
Chose a carpet for the hall, stairs & landing.
Bloke came to measure up for said carpet.
Housework :arghh:
Cooked tea
Enjoyed gin :D

Sounds like a lovely day, @heh

All well here, tired from helping out someone getting their ship ready for the first sailing group of the season (mainly attaching sails and untangling about everything) and making some some money :), and now trying to diabetes my way through Chinese takeaway :hungry: I think I may have found the trick; have a small portion with a lot of insulin early, followed by a bigger portion some 2 hours later (when bg starts dropping rather alarmingly) with a lot less insulin. Second portion was only a half hour ago so not sure yet. Should it work, don't ask me why, just acting on a hunch :P
