Mind you I am sitting here with post postprandial level of 9.9 after just 20 gm of carbs . think I will go out to the garden for a non recommended cigarette not allowed to smoke in the house even though it's my house.
The only forum where speaking of three slices of fresh bread is more torturous than getting your teeth pulled!

I've only ever had one tooth pulled in such circumstances. Guess why? It broke vertically when I was eating a frozen Snickers (still called Marathon at the time). Oh the Irony!

I also went to the dentist today ,only to have a new partial denture fitted I stuck a broken crown together with Araldite (other glues are available ) So I got an abscess and lost the tooth ,anyway the denture fitted find but it stuck and the dentist couldn't pull it out !!! I get claustrophobia and started to panic,fortunately it came out before I threw a complete wobbbler

Best friend is visiting and making cauliflower soup right now. Cauliflower cheese was in the planning, but she looked at my face and decided it has to be soup today 
And, yes, that's the same friend who told me to get icecream instead of old liquorice last week! (never mind the spelling of that. I've looked it up multiple times, but it just won't stick in my head. Decided to go with a different spelling every time, so at least I get it right some of the time )

Yikes! Not as painful as my adventures today, but at least as scary!

The worst experience I've had with a dentist was about three years ago now. when I had about six teeth extracted in one go and then an upper plate of a new set of dentures forced into my still bleeding mouth I did not like that in the slightest.
Nothing to do with dentists but yesterday was walking around with what I thought was asmall stone or something in my shoe having little sensation in my feet I didn't pay much attention and forgot to check it out well today after walking around most of the day with the same object in my shoe I finally decided to check it out well it wasn't a stone it was a small shard of glass of all things weird have not a clue as to where it came from or how it got there. Not sure if thats funny or sad.

More sad than funny, I'd say. On the other hand, I'm all for laughing about painful things, so maybe go with funny anyway

Now I know why it makes me angry they don't let me donate anymore now I'm on insulin!
Max dose of paracetamol, max dose of ibuprofen plus a couple of drinks and still wondering how to sleep with the pain of pulled teeth and the soreness of all the places where they grabbed hold of my jaw to keep it from dislocating when pulling the teeth.
