Diabetics R Us

Sometimes facebook scares me. Especially when I mistakenly think I'm reading in a diabetes group and someone asks a question about some device but I see the picture first:

Funny was scrolling down this thread and saw this picture and suddenly think "What the Chuffty McBuff are you doing now?" o_O then realised it might not be diabetic related then saw what you had written :hilarious:

Time for that Dutch strudel you posted up a while ago me thinks :joyful::)

Hi All,
Hope everyone in fine fettle....... big (((HUGS))) to those not in the best of health........leaves changing colour and the trees are beginning to look tatty, dew overnight, misty mornings and time to get my winter woollies out of storage..........big boots to be waterproofed and big socks now at the ready.

Hope you all have a grand day.....:bag:

My your a hardy lot in your house.......mines been on since the end of Sept.........thermostat set at 15deg for overnight and day time, though I do tweak it up of an evening if chilly......:D

I call that hardy. Ours has been on a while, set at 18 over night and 21 during the day, but we do have colder weather up here and I feel it.

Morning all

We put the heating on last night :(

Have a good day.

H :)
I'm still in denial so I still have my windows open. I have been using a blanket on the couch though for about a week now, sharing it with the dogs, as I think it's around 14-16 degrees Celsius. I am afraid I can't keep denying that winter is coming for much longer :(

My hubby is loving that I'm in the menopausal stage where I have lots of hot flushes, and so the heating doesn't really need to go on much unless it is REALLY cold and that'sonly happened a couple of times so far this autumn...he's looking at a low bill this winter I think!! :joyful:

Morning all

I had a Tesco shop scheduled for delivery at 7-8pm last night, they text me at 8.17pm to say they were running late (I'd worked that out for myself) then rang at 9pm to say they have to cancel due to lack of drivers :meh:. Never had a delivery cancelled before and I've been using them for donkeys years, but they have credited £15 to my credit card. Only problem now I feel like Old Mrs Hubbard - bare cupboard :hilarious:

Have a good day.

H :)

Just got back from Tesco where I did my cancelled weekly shop, I am extremely pleased I don't do that every week :arghh:
