Er - you do know that the 'healthier diet' typically recommended for those of us diagnosed some little time was to eat beans and baked potatoes as 'a good lunch'?
I think that most type twos would struggle with that, as it would cause elevated blood glucose levels for many.
Whilst I appreciate that you want to help, type two diabetics seem to be doomed to receive poor guidance about their diet.

Oh yes.
When I saw one of the people who'd been on the 'educational' course with me some time later, he'd lost a foot, and the other was going the same way by the look of it.
