Diarrhoea for months

Hi all a quick update!

My doctor thinks I may have chronic pancreatitis and has told me to take a couple of poop samples into the surgery tomorrow

Totally shocked and baffled I have only been diagnosed for 7 months

Probably the same way I have learned to live with colon cancer since I was diagnosed with it four and a half months ago, one day at a time.

How do people live with pancreatitis

There are a few people with it on the T3s forums, and Dr Google says it's treatable. Much though I'm sure you won't be able to resist googling to the max on this one, I think you probably just have to take a deep breath and wait for the results, as even if you do have pancreatitis there can be multiple causes and treatments. T1s manage just fine without the pancreas' best known product, insulin, as you already know.
