Taking metformin?
Loose and unpredictable bowels are a side effect.. if you are on the regular version then you could ask for the extended release version?
If it's really recent, it could be the heat. If you're on metformin, that's the side effect it's known for, and if it doesn't pass in about two weeks, it's not going anywhere. Slow release metformin could be an option. You could also try the low carb/high fat diet instead, as it's more effective in treating T2 than metformin usually is. (Metformin's more about the glucose your body makes, and doesn't do anything about the foods you ingest). Plus, a lot of people on LCHF only have to go once every two days or so.
