Hi All.
I have tried a 'diet stimulation drink' it states 'trace' of carbohydrate and sugars' and NIL in fat, saturates, fibre .
It has got vitamins, sodium in though .
Only got it from aldi, when I was flagging after a hectic morning the other day, it was delicious taste wise.
Refreshing and thirst quenching besides giving my low energy a 'booster' ...
Trouble is I quite fancy getting more of these to have instead of a coffee.
Wondering IF theyre okay to drink as suitable alternative to a coffee - keep me going if n when I get bit weary for
example...
Anyone else use same or similar ??? :?:
Anna.

Thanks for replies.
They ARE like the redbulls but taste MUCH nicer from my point of veiw.
Theyre much cheaper if buy as a 6 pack , will get couple of packs abd store in my garage !
This will keep them cool [method in my madness]
Some folk add booze to these " mate just said " ...
Will leave the alchohol 'out' as simply cant tolerate it !!!!
Anna.

Hello Anna,

I recently asked a similar question about sugar free red bull vs coffee. I tried it for myself and found that the SF red bull gave me a bit of energy and had no effect on my BG reading at all. So it terms of a pick me up it works well. I don't think they are great for your insides or your teeth, but if you everything is bad for you in some way right?...

Hi Richwatt.
Theyre okay to have 'occasionally' as and when 'needed' , is when I use these .
Too 'many' too often, as you point out can possibly do other things!!!
Best to use commonsense, and only have when 'needed' .
Hope this helps ?
Anna. :)

Hi Anna, you may want to google 'red bull dangers' just to check what some people think of it and its safety, I'm not saying dont drink the stuff just be aware of the possible risks associated with this drink. I was advised never to drink any energy drink by an ICU nurse whilst recovering from pneumonia and red bull seems to be in a class of its own even being banned in several countries.

FRANCE and DENMARK have just prohibited it as a cocktail of death, due to its vitamin components mixed with GLUCURONOLACTONE', a highly dangerous chemical, which was developed by the United States Department of Defence during 60 years to stimulate the moral of the troops based in VIETNAM, which acted like a hallucinogenic drug that calmed the stress of the war.

But their effects in the organism were so devastating, that it was discontinued, because of the high index of cases of migraines, cerebral tumors and diseases of the liver that was evident in the soldiers who consumed it.
