can anyone pleas give me some ideas on low-carb diets im trying to gt my HbcA1 levls down with diet and reduced medication iv started but need some fresh ideas for breeakfaast lunch and tea thnk you
One of the things that works for us (me ~20g/day, Mrs A no limits) is meal planning. I batch cook a lot and usually try to ensure that we don't eat exactly the same thing two days running. What I do is to alter sauces - so take a roast chicken, have half of it on day one with some roasted veg, day two lamb and spinach curry, day three the other half chicken but in a mushroom/garlic/cream sauce, day four left over lamb curry, day five poached salmon. Almost all the cooking work can be done on day one, which helps.can anyone pleas give me some ideas on low-carb diets im trying to gt my HbcA1 levls down with diet and reduced medication iv started but need some fresh ideas for breeakfaast lunch and tea thnk you

Today is a bit unusual as I've been travelling and driving for about four/five hours. Context is we've been away for a week on a family holiday and I have been a bit more relaxed on carbs than usual, which for me basically meant more alcohol, rather than chips and pies.have you got an example of a daily menu that you have today I've had rasberries , blubaarris and Greek yogurt nd a couple of walnuts for lunch scrambeld egg 2 pics of bacon i thin slice black pudding tonight will be salmon fillet and eg ll done in the ninja cheers

WHAT BRAND OF LOW CARB BREAD DO YOU USENo issue with most (all?) UK bacon as far as carbs go. My low carb "bread" is good fried in the bacon fat.
I have seen bacon that's been soaked in a sugar solution, generally maple syrup flavoured. More common in the US where they also do pork sausages that have sugar added.
