Hi Everyone
I live in the Netherlands and I have a freestyle lite. I have just aquiresd a Netherlands machine to compare and when I get a reading on UK one of 9.1 my dutch one reads 15.1. Why is this? Can anyone tell me ?

Blood test meters are not particularly accurate. New ones are +/- 15% older ones +/- 20%.
However your readings do look a long way out. Were the readings taken at the same time? Had you washed & dried your hands before each test? Try repeating the double test & see what happens. It could be that one or the other is just a freak reading.

Hi, I thought mine might be out a bit , so got some calibration fluid from the makers website, sent to me for free........
