Hi,
I am quite disappointed tonight.
I have been doing the low carb diet for the last 6 months. I aim to have about 25g a day. I have in the main stuck to it and now I'm in the swing of things, I enjoying it.
I have been testing up to 6 times a day. I had calculated my Hba1c was 47, the MySugr app also worked out with similar at 45 (my meter is an accu check mobile )
At the beginning of the year my Hb was 69. In August I had got it down to 54. I was very pleased. Today I got the latest result and it was 51.
I realise there can be a small difference, but am confused as this was so different. I was on metformin until May but the side effects were not nice! I had hoped I could control it by diet. I am disabled so struggle to do any exercise as my mobility is very poor and wondered if this is partly to blame.
I know it is still going in the right direction but a tad p'd off.
