Dislike of food

I am 77, been T2 on insulin for 15 years. I've recently ( couple of years) noticed I have gone off food. I used to love Italian, but no more. I manage a bit chicken but there is no pleasure in eating anymore. I do suffer from nausea in the evenings ( occasionally) and struggle to eat. This means of course I don't eat enough for my meal and end up having a hypo! I have had endoscopy and colonoscopy, both fine, but some erosive gastritis showed up. No treatment offered.

Have you been told to inject the same amount if you eat or don't eat?
I'd have thought that by adjusting your insulin to match the carbs you'd have been OK.

When I had gastritis I went off food, I forced myself to eat as I didn't want to lose weight and went on a low acid diet to improve it. I felt sick and was sick too. The low acid diet helped I think, it's much improved now, Google it you can low carb on it. contact your diabetic nurse about assisting your insulin if you're eating less.
