DISPOSAL OF LANCETS AND TEST STRIPS

Its more about risk of infection but I'd trust people here over a DN anytime. Some change every time others like me when they remember.. I've never had a problem so far..

Me too or if it's hurting more when I use it,but used multiple times,and I still get them free from my doctor! K

My used strips go in a bin under my bench.

Mine go under my bench as well, but not in a bin. They also go on the floor of my car, in my bed, in the washing machine and I even found a couple in the garden. And I really do aim for the ash tray or the bin, but I think they crawl out at night to have a party.

I get yellow sharps bin (free) on prescription for disposal of Needles, Insulin Pens, Lancets and Test Strips when full I ring my local council who arrange date to collect it.
As for lancets I use each one several times before changing.

I really do aim for the ash tray or the bin

For the size and weight of the strip they are just the right for flicking at the bin, but sometime they do bounce off the top of it and have to find it amongst the cables under there.

I think they crawl out at night to have a party.

It can be like squeezing blood out of a stone to get a a invite to a strip poker game

I use a needle clipper, clip the end of the needle off put the lil cap back on and throw in the bin, test strips go straight in the bin.

I use my yellow container I get from chemist for my Bette needles I out my tester needles and little finger needles in there too and they go to doctors when full.
