Hi, I have been feeling dizzy most of today-I have just checked my blood sugar was 7.1. I did think I wasnt feeling well because my sugar was too high as I didn't have a great day. Do you think this is related to my diabetes or something else. Not feeling well over all.

7.1 is not that bad, but it obviously depends on the timing of the test.
Could it be, you are just having an off day?
There are many reasons why you feel not quite right, particularly hormones.
Symptoms of dizziness could be something to do with your blood sugar levels but not enough information.
Hope you are feeling better tomorrow.

Out of context numbers are not very useful.

If that 7.1 was 2hrs after a burger and chips it's great.
First thing in the morning it's higher than you would want as an ideal.

Are you on meds. Job stress. Just started low carb? If your bloods were running in the teens your body may object to 7.1.

Ultimately we need more info.

Hi @suziare,
What type of diabetes have you been diagnosed with ?
And how long have you been diagnosed for?
What medication are you prescribed for diabetes and other conditions?
And when you say you feel unwell it is like a cold coming on or something different?
Is your dizziness worse on standing? Does the room seem to spin?
Apologies for all these questions but their answers might best help answer your question.
