A while back I posted about feeling dizzy/lightheaded? And I got myself checked out but came back all clear?? Well anyway it stopped for a while but now it has come back again! I feel like I really am going to faint sometimes...I feel asif my blood is low when it's really not and I have done the control solution on my meter and even tested on another meter! I have doctor's Friday anyway but could it be worth while going to the Opticians??????

What's your BP like? Is it a faint like feeling or a tipping over (balance) feeling?

Is it like a drunk/room spinning type thing? Could be an inner ear infection. I went through a period of this and it went away after a while.

Faint kind of feeling BP no clue tried to get an emergency appointment to get they checked...would they give me one like hell would they so got one on Friday....it's not like I'm drunk or anything it's hard to explain....but I don't like it! It's sometimes accompanied by slight nausea...and no I am not pregnant...I've just come off a horrid period....anemia is springing to mind again though

It could be many things, i suffer alot from dizziness on and off and its not nice, but we cant really say what it could be as theres thousands of things that cause dizziness from anxiety to vertigo

I know! I feel like really faint now though....I have just got sat back down at my desk

If you feel faint pop your head between your knees till you feel a bit better, hopefully your dr will check you out

Should do,it does for me:)
I know some years ago I had similar episodes and was told to put my head between my legs and it just made it worse in the end diagnosed with a trapped nerve, sent to a chiropractic thingy and after 4 sessions started to get a lot better

Have you been referred to ENT for inner ear infection, may be its that?
I also feel dizzy at times but its very very minimal

If it's a normal syncope then lie down and elevate legs and you will soon feel better. When I passed out doing the tilt test at the hospital that's what they did to revive me, so it must be right!

I haven't got the option to lie down at work lol...And I have tried that a few times and it doesn't work as much! Even if I close my eyes briefly...it seems to make me worse once I open them again....I am squinting alot too lately!

Poor Nicola. You are checking your BG aren't you.

Could it be a horrid virus? (Which will go?)

A mystery. If you're sure it's not something to do with your inner ear.

Get your dr to take your bp laying then standing, it could be something called autonomic neuropathy.
I suffered last year with it and needed to be put on fludrocortisol for alittle while
