Two squares of 90% is enough if it's frozen - if it's at room temperature then I will want more - but when frozen it takes longer to melt and I find it more satisfying.Although I'm not having any at the moment due to being on the Newcastle Diet.

We keep ours in the fridge. Always have done. One square of Lidl 70% every other day (though I'd not bother if the husband wasn't in charge of chocolate. Type 2 diet controlled since 2006 I've pretty much now lost all my sweet tooth, can't face milk chocolate at all now. Even chocolate cake and chocolate pudding is off the menu. All I have now is chocolate ice cream if we have a cooked fruit pudding at home (once a fortnight when my very elderly mum comes is the norm). Amazing what the thought of taking medication can do to someone told they'll be diet controlled T2, and then only in my mid-50s).
