Does anxiety and depression

Does both makes my diabetes my surger level very high.
For me it doesn't seem to make a difference. I need about the same amount of insulin when my depression and anxiety are bad as during times I'm doing pretty well.

Are you getting help with your depression and anxiety?

If you're seeing high blood glucose very often, can you contact your diabetes nurse on adjusting your insulin doses?

Might be a chicken/egg kind of thing. I know my anxiety disorders and clinical depression get a whole lot worse when my blood sugars are high. And for some, anxiety will up blood sugars because the liver starts dumping. (It figures you need extra energy when you're stressed, the little busybody). Not everyone gets high blood sugars when stress is a factor, but when bloods are high, emotional stability often goes out the window.

When my emotional stability goes out the window quite - alot, I see an impact on my bg levels without doubt. Sleep helps as when I do eventually get to sleep I am not stressing and over thinking :banghead:
