Does anyone else have 'bad eating' days?

Woke up today not feeling 100%, hot and clammy, BG was higher than usual. After breakfast BG was lower, before lunch it was up again, after lunch it had dropped. Had my retinal screening (which was weird as hell!!), BG was up again before dinner so I just thought f*** it, and didn't eat dinner. Had a few pints, some biscuits and a toffee crisp. BG was lower again. What is going on????
 
Perfectly normal don't worry tomorrow is another day. Bgs can rise if you're not 100% or stressed. Have another biscuit :-)

Well, a pint I can do but as for the biscuits, someone seems to have stolen them all :)

Interesting neither of you mentioned the toffee crisp!!!

Thanks Beachbag :) oddly the biscuits (Party Rings) were easy to choose cos they were half price, the toffee crisp took ages to choose..... :sorry:

Pah!

My wifes birthday today. I ate 2 hot cross buns for breakfast, cheese on toast for lunch, a take away curry with some rice for dinner followed by a good number of chocolates one of my sons bought her. Tomorrow is another day ...

Like semi phonic, made me laugh also, especially just got back from church welcome new minster. The spread was enormous and just had to tackled. Still tomorrow is Sunday. Will do better. Cheers
 
Oh Dear! Just took a BG reading, not good. Taken to the exercise bike. Does not bode well for a naughty eating day. People coming to visiting half an hour and expect takeaway. Oh boy!
 
Well back on the wagon today with low carb and low calorie. A long walk with the dogs on what was a lovely sunny Spring day. Had some yoghurt and raspberries for brekkie, nothing for lunch then some chicken & leek soup with a slice of Burgen for dinner...

f it makes you feel any better, I ate 2 LCHF waffles with diabetic jam and whipped cream . Felt virtuous until 2 hours afterwards. This is how long it took the psyllium husk to work through my and hubbies system! ( in some cultures psyllium husk which is added to loads of LCHF recipes is a laxative. As we discovered today - it definitely is! Most uncomfortable walk into town ever!) . Had glass of wine several hours ago with food and feel like I have been out on the lash. Also ate chocolate ball ( oats, sugar, cocoa, butter and coconut) size of squash ball. You can't win em all! Big hug!
