I picked up a single trifle from Morrisons today ... really I suppose, because it's got fresh cream on the top, but now I'm wondering if I can eat trifle or not?
It has fruit cocktail in it and I do have fruit cocktail (in juice) with fresh cream with no effects ... but I don't know about this one!!!

you wont know the effects on your blood sugar until you eat it....

The best way to tell is eat it and see what it does to your blood sugars, does it say on label carb content

I don't usually eat desserts and usually between 5-7 bs. Last night ate a mini berry cheesecake and went up to 9.2. I think it's important to have treats occasionally but will probably look for something other than cheesecake in future because bs was also higher than usual this morning when I tested before breakfast. Em
