Hi there,

I am wondering if anyone with T2 uses MyFitnessPal to help monitor their food intake. I am specifically wondering what % levels you have set for your daily Carbs/Fats/Proteins.

I have just discovered that you can create your own custom measurements - I might use this to record results of blood tests and cholesterol and BMI... Anyway it would be good to hear from anyone else who uses MFP.

thank you :)

70% Carbs @britishpub that seems very high

I doubt it's 70% carb. More likely 70% fat.

Why not log what you'rer doing for a few days, then it'll tell you where you are now, and help you make adjustments. When I started using it, I did that, then found I could trim bits here and there (mainly trimming on the carbs).

Don't get too tied up in the percentages for now. Once you have your starting point of a couple of weeks of food intake logged, you'll soon see where you might want to go.

I use the Fitbit app that I got with my Fitbit Zip .. I like it a lot to log my walking and food intake :bag:

I've been logging everything there since mid-October. I use 60 (fat) -20-20. (I'm typically a bit under on the carbs & over on the fats) (Same username there as here)
