Does Low Carb have any other benefits ?

Not all of these will be due to just Low Carb but I think it help a LOT.
HbA1c - down - from 52 to 44
Weight Down from 92kgs to 81
BMI also down - 28.2 to 25.2
Chloresteroal down - 5.7 to 4.8 (Triglycerides down 2.1 to 1)

Looks pretty typical of results from LCHF to me...

Went for 6-month dental check-up today - he told me my teeth looked incredibly clean, asked had I just seen the hygienist before him? I did see her a month ago, but explained that I'd also in the last couple of months gone low carb due to diabetes. He said well if there's no sugar or carbs in your diet, there'll be no plaque forming, and joked not to tell his other patients about the diet or he'd go out of business!

Very small loose bits of skin - in the old days they used to tie them up (cutting off their blood supply) they they just dropped off - I have a few
lol, I would just rip them off as soon as I spotted them. Thankfully I've only had a few. Curiuosly though, my brother gets them and he's not been diagnosed as diabetic.

Never ever seen one of these. I wonder if the treatment could be adapted for redundant beer bellies or wattles.

Edit to add: This was said with tongue firmly in cheek, which is not the best place to put it since it is liable to be bitten. Also it is too large to be considered to be a skin tag.
