Does T1 make you more handsome

Hi all,

I have been a T1 for nearly 3 years now and I seem to be getting more handsome by the day. Just wondered if this was linked to the diabetes? I'm wondering if it could just be that my eyes are getting worse though. :D

Hey JC

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! If you saw the TV programme this week about high BG making you look older, then it would stand to reason that you look younger and more gorgeous now that your HbA1C is so good. Nice to hear from someone happy in their skin!

:lol: are women included in this or would that be more stunningly beautiful and also the lenght of time of having Type 1 maybe. If thats the case.............. then I'm Ms Universe then :lol: ( wishful thinking here guys) :roll: RRB

Of course it's related, just look at Sharon Stone, you don't think she looks so good due to make up do you? No of course not, it's all down to diabetes.
I think someone may have slipped something into the insulin as a kind of compensation when it was being produced. Nice touch if that is the case, because it works great.
Ps I've personally not noticed any evidence to suggest that a beauty draft has been implemented during the process of the production of Metiformin. I'm not suggesting anything here, just saying. lol

I wouldn't have thought so, she's a T1 she doesn't need that sort of thing.
Another example "Lezzles" who posted before me, I'm thinking of starting the phrase "Face of a type one diabetic" as in, "She was stunning, I swear she had the face of a type one diabetic." Whose with me one this?

and I've eaten an awful lot of sugar in my time. Now trying to corner the skinny Clement Freud hang-dog look as my own.
