Hi

Me again so is it possible that water does indeed help control blood sugar ?

I think that the reverse is true - that if you were to be high then drinking water would help to get rid of some of the glucose in urine, and that when hypo or hyper the body doesn't cope as well as it might if it was better hydrated.
The latter is my own suspicion after asking a couple of people on the forum about their condition when they went wobbly and they did respond that they did need water at the time, or had not drunk for some time on a hot day.

Being well hydrated greatly reduces the risks of having high BG, provided you have enough salt in your diet.
