Diagnosed Type2 August 1 with hba1c of 53. LCHF one and a bit month later? private blood tests reveal hba1c 37.Im due for 3 month blood test November. I'm interested in what the doc thinks about this. To be honest I got the blood tests to clear up some other issues but was pleasantly surprised when it threw up this one. So I'm a happy bunny again after a period of worry and self doubt.
 
Very well done on your quick reduction in HbA1c especially as it’s after only six weeks, so you still have some older ’sugary’ red cells on board. I expect your official three month one to show further improvement if you carry on the way you are. I hope the other tests put your mind at rest too.

Huge congratulations, well done indeed. LCHF is really working well for you.
Please don't be too disappointed if your doctor just ignores how you have achieved this. Many GPs are very much against LCHF since it goes against everything they have been telling patients for all their careers!
