Hi there,

I accidentally took twice my medication this morning, 2000mg Metformin and 10mg Linagliptin. I checked the nhs website and said to call 111 if I start feeling unwell. I'm not seeking medical advice just a bit of ease of mind if possible as my PhD annual examination is in two hours. Has this happened to anyone before? Thank you.

Just to put in what the drug is for.
It increases the amount of insulin for the first phase insulin response, because you may have low first phase insulin response or because of insulin resistance, you need more insulin production.

I would not be concerned unless you do feel unwell. But it shouldn't last for long, especially if you have something to eat.

Hope this helps.
