Driving entitlement

Hi, I am trying to get some entitlement put back onto my driving licence eg D1. does anyone know what range your levels have to be over the 3 months readings you have to submit?

They don’t have to be anything they don’t give a toss if you are high. They don’t care about being low. All they care about is that you don’t have disabling hypos that you required help with.. they will ask you if you are hypo aware. And they will check your meter to ensure you are not missing any resilts

It’s worth making a note in a diary of why you were low, the DVLA specialist I had wanted explanations of every time I dipped below 4.

Mine didn’t really care he actually stated I was expected to have hypos just that I had to recognise it and treat it myself.

But never hurts to record as much as possible just in case

Mine went through the whole three months with a fine tooth comb, and I had to explain every single one. Why it had happened, how long it lasted, what treatment I used... was awful.

Odd mine went through the whole 3 months but only to check there was enough readings each day was much easier than I’d expected
