dry and sore eyes

I've had this now for a few months, it never bothered me until i got the diagnosis of high blood sugar a few weeks back, now I am really scared about it ,
I must explain that i suffer severe panic anxiety depression and i have many many phobias one of them is fear of medication the second is eye drops . My doctor is going to ask if i can have the eye screening done without the drops because i am so anxious about it , no matter how many times people say its okay I am just too frightened because of side effects .

I've had my eyes tested and the photographs taken at the opticians and my doctor got the photos which they sent , she said all looks good and the optician said my eyesight is 20 20 , passed all other tests during the eye test and my prescription was changed because the previous one was wrong and hurt my eyes i couldn't wear my reading glasses .

So because of the dry sore eyes i am getting blurry on and off , I know this is a sign of high sugar , but mine is going down now and my test just now is 8.6 .

Anyone had dry sore eyes with the blurry vision , if so did it resolve ?

Blurry vision can also come with decreasing blood sugars - high sugars change the composition of the fluid in the eye and that effects the shape of the lens - when sugars reduce the lens shape changes and may no longer be right for clear vision. . It all settles down once your sugars are stable but many people find their glasses prescription changes

Thank you , it is decreasing i must admit so I think you are right, thank you again .

I think it is the sugar coming down and a reaction from that , as today my eyes have been really good and crystal clear , then for about an hour they blurred but not as bad, and now okay so hopefully now the numbers are dropping this is going away .
