I get them all the time. Some stay for a day, others for a week
The one that's lurking at the moment
You can't always get what you want

This one had me going for weeks every time I watched 'Mum' on telly.

Apparently according to something hubby read to rid yourself of an ear worm you have to listen to the whole song not just the bit that keeps repeating in your head. Something about re-triggering your brain

Certainly helped me with the darned 'Baby Shark'

Recently, my wife has noticed i keep humming Big yellow taxi by Joni Mitchell..
Odd! not my thing..

My wife however, keeps humming the Adele tune..

I quite often find the best way to kill an earworm is call in professional help? ;)

Washing machines live longer with Calgon was one I had a week or so back.. Arghhhhhhhhhh it's going to start again now!

Try dodging that particular ear worm by listening to Mick.
If you're gonna get an EW then at least you can sound cool while you're humming ;)

With me, it's the last advert I listened to before I turned off the telly. It reappears about 4.30 am and goes round and round and round and round....

Or Freddie Mercury!..........

Aw! I shot myself in the foot. All I can hear is Mick's chorus in a faux accent which sounds just like this....

Yoo kaint ohlwaze git wat yoo wo-ont
Yoo kaint ohlwaze git wat yoo wo-ont
B't if yoo tra sumtimes
Yoo maight fahnd
Yoo git wat yoo nee-eed

If I caught it I'm takking all of you with me. Enjoy!

Every time I listen to, or watch the News, I keep saying to myself, here comes Groundhog May!
Perhaps her clockwork will run down eventually and I'll get some peace.

Back to the dreaded Baby Shark. Now I have various differing musical versions of this courtesy of my youngest granddaughter who keeps playing it on my phone
